We want satisfied customers, not hostages. That's why we make it easy for you to cancel your account directly in all of our apps — no phone calls required, no questions asked.
This policy applies to all Nextenti subscribers — including individual consumers (B2C) and business or team accounts (B2B).
If you are an individual consumer (B2C), you may have additional rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including the right to seek redressal through consumer dispute resolution mechanisms. Nothing in this policy limits or waives those statutory rights.
Account owners can follow these instructions to cancel in-app:
Log in to your Nextenti account via the web app or mobile app, go to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription, and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your cancellation. No phone calls or support tickets required.
Our legal responsibility is to account owners, which means we cannot cancel an account at the request of anyone else. If for whatever reason you no longer know who the account owner is, contact us at support@nextenti.ai. We will gladly reach out to any current account owners at the email addresses we have on file.
1. What Happens When You Cancel an Account
If you have a paid Nextenti account, you may cancel your subscription and continue using your account until the end of your current paid billing period. After that, your account will become inaccessible. You may also choose to cancel immediately if you prefer. If you are on a free or trial account, access ends at the time of cancellation. In all cases, make sure you download everything you want to keep before your access ends.
We'll permanently delete the content in your account from our servers 30 days after cancellation, and from our backups within 60 days, in accordance with our obligations under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). Retrieving content for a single account from a backup isn't possible, so if you change your mind you'll need to do it within the first 30 days after cancellation.Content can't be recovered once it has been permanently deleted.
We won't bill you again once you cancel. Cancellation stops all future billing immediately. If you request cancellation within 7 days of your most recent payment date, you are eligible for a full refund — please contact us at support@nextenti.ai to initiate your refund request. No refunds are issued for cancellations requested after 7 days from the payment date. For complete refund terms, please review our Refund Policy.
2. Nextenti Tech Private Limited-initiated cancellations
Nextenti Tech Private Limited may suspend or cancel your account in any of the following circumstances:
We may cancel or suspend your account if: (a) you violate our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, or any applicable law or regulation; (b) we detect or reasonably suspect fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful activity in connection with your use of our services; (c) we receive a court order, directive from a regulatory authority, or instruction from a competent governmental body requiring suspension or termination of your account; or (d) applicable fees remain unpaid after we have issued written notice and provided a reasonable opportunity to remedy the default.
Where legally permissible, Nextenti Tech Private Limited will provide reasonable advance notice before cancelling your account. However, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel your account immediately and without prior notice in cases involving fraud, violation of applicable law, or pursuant to a court order or regulatory directive.
Cancellation under this section does not relieve you of any payment or other obligations that have accrued prior to the date of cancellation. Our right to cancel is consistent with the lawful termination principles under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
3. Governing Law
This Cancellation Policy, and any disputes or claims arising from or in connection with it, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), and the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
