Responsibilities • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating theatre to ensure patient safety and infection control. • Assist the surgical team by providing instruments and supplies during procedures, anticipating the needs of surgeons. • Verify patient identity and surgical site before procedures, adhering to strict protocols. • Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures to prevent retained surgical items. • Provide emergency support during surgeries, responding swiftly to any complications or changes in patient condition. • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including surgical records and patient notes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. • Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure efficient flow of the surgical process. • Operate and ensure the proper functioning of surgical equipment, reporting any malfunctions. • Support postoperative patient care, assisting in the transfer to recovery rooms and monitoring vital signs.Google Map Location
