Job Description
The BIM Architect is responsible for creating, developing, and managing Building Information Models (BIM) for architectural projects. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to produce accurate 3D models, construction documentation, and ensure compliance with project standards and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software. Prepare architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction documentation. Coordinate architectural models with structural and MEP disciplines to identify and resolve clashes. Ensure BIM models comply with project specifications, BIM standards, and quality requirements. Participate in design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and project teams. Update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle based on design revisions. Perform model quality checks and ensure data accuracy. Assist in quantity take-offs and project documentation from BIM models. Support project delivery within established timelines and quality standards. Experience in commercial, residential, healthcare, or industrial projects is preferred.
