OT technician
Job Description
Responsibilities • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment to ensure safety and efficiency during surgical procedures. • Support surgeons and surgical teams by providing essential instruments and supplies before, during, and after operations. • Ensure proper sterilization and handling of surgical instruments and equipment. • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of surgical supplies and reorder as necessary to prevent shortages. • Provide emergency support in critical situations and ensure a swift and effective response to any intraoperative emergencies. • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including patient records and surgical logs, to uphold compliance with hospital standards. • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care in both general and obstetric surgeries. • Assist in post-operative care and transfer of patients to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or recovery rooms as needed.Location
