Job Description
Responsibilities • Assist in preparing operating rooms for surgeries by ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterilized and organized. • Provide direct support to surgeons and surgical teams during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment. • Monitor patients' vital signs and condition intraoperatively and report any significant changes to the surgical team. • Administer medications and assist in anesthesia management under the guidance of anesthesiologists. • Ensure seamless communication between the surgical team and other medical staff to coordinate patient care. • Provide emergency support in critical situations and ensure adherence to all safety protocols. • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation of surgical procedures and patient interactions. • Participate in post-operative care by monitoring recovery and assisting in the transition to post-surgical units. • Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care and discharge instructions. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuous quality improvement.Location
