Job Description
Responsibilities • Develop and implement procurement strategies for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems to ensure efficient and cost-effective facility operations. • Collaborate with various departments to understand their MEP requirements and ensure timely procurement of necessary equipment and materials. • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and delivery timelines. • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and conditions while maintaining quality standards. • Maintain a comprehensive database of suppliers, products, and pricing information for MEP components. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and hospital regulations in all procurement activities. • Oversee the inspection and quality assurance of MEP supplies and materials received. • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and manage timely reordering of essential supplies. • Coordinate with the finance department to align procurement activities with budgetary constraints. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to foster long-term partnerships. • Provide technical support and guidance to the facility maintenance team regarding the installation and operation of MEP systems. • Ensure all procurement activities align with the hospital's sustainability and environmental policies.Location
