Responsibilities • Coordinate and manage the procurement of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting (MEPFF) equipment and materials for the multispeciality hospital. • Develop and implement procurement strategies that ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency in the sourcing of high-quality materials. • Collaborate with various departments to understand their MEPFF procurement needs and maintain consistent communication to meet their requirements. • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure timely delivery. • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to avoid shortages and overstocking. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, evaluating their performance and reliability regularly. • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities. • Manage and oversee the procurement team, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and professional development. • Analyze market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. • Prepare and present procurement reports to the management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement. • Implement sustainable procurement practices that align with the hospital's environmental and ethical standards.Location
