Job Description
Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. • Monitor and assess patient conditions, noting any changes and communicating them to the healthcare team. • Provide emergency support and interventions as needed, ensuring quick and effective responses to critical situations. • Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with established protocols. • Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation for each patient. • Support families by providing information, education, and emotional support regarding their child's condition and care. • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment. • Participate in continuous professional development and training to keep skills and knowledge current. • Assist in the orientation and mentorship of new staff and nursing students.Location
