Job Description
Responsibilities • Assist the surgical team in preparing the operating room for procedures, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterilized and ready for use. • Support surgeons and nurses during operations by providing necessary instruments and materials promptly. • Maintain a sterile environment within the operating room to prevent infections and complications. • Monitor and manage the availability of surgical supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order. • Assist in the setup and calibration of surgical equipment and machinery. • Collaborate with the ICU team to provide emergency support when necessary. • Document and maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and equipment usage. • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the operating theatre. • Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of the operating room post-surgery.Location
