Job Description
Responsibilities • Conduct and monitor sleep studies, including overnight polysomnography, multiple sleep latency tests, and maintenance of wakefulness tests. • Prepare and calibrate equipment required for sleep studies, ensuring all devices are functioning properly. • Record and interpret sleep data, identifying any irregularities or abnormalities in sleep patterns. • Work collaboratively with the pulmonary and critical care team to provide comprehensive care for patients with sleep disorders. • Provide emergency support and intervention during sleep studies if required, ensuring patient safety at all times. • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation of sleep study results and patient interactions. • Educate patients and their families about the procedures, expectations, and follow-up care related to sleep studies. • Stay updated with advancements in sleep technology and integrate new techniques into practice where applicable. • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards in all sleep study activities.
