Job Description
Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the operation theatre, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and standards. • Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring the availability of necessary instruments and supplies. • Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition before, during, and after surgery, promptly addressing any changes or emergencies. • Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring all surgical instruments are sterilized and equipment is functioning properly. • Implement infection control procedures and aseptic techniques to prevent contamination and promote patient safety. • Document clinical and operative details accurately in patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies. • Support the anesthesia team with the administration and monitoring of anesthesia, ensuring patient comfort and safety. • Provide wound care management post-operation and educate patients on recovery and post-operative care instructions. • Collaborate effectively with the surgical team, contributing to a cohesive and efficient working environment.Location
