Job Description
2. Verify CGHS beneficiary cards, eligibility, referrals, approvals, and authorization documents.
3. Prepare and process inpatient (IP) and outpatient (OP) bills as per CGHS package rates and guidelines.
4. Verify medical records, discharge summaries, investigation reports, prescriptions, and other supporting documents.
5. Ensure accurate billing as per applicable CGHS package rates and approved procedures.
6. Prepare and submit claims to CGHS offices within the prescribed timelines.
7. Handle claim queries, discrepancies, deductions, and rejections.
8. Coordinate with doctors, medical records, insurance, accounts, and billing departments for claim-related documentation.
9. Follow up with CGHS authorities regarding pending bills and reimbursement status.
10. Maintain records of submitted claims, outstanding amounts, deductions, and settlements.
11. Ensure compliance with CGHS billing guidelines and hospital credit policies.
12. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly billing and outstanding reports.
Required Qualifications
• Any Degree / B.Com / BBA / Relevant Graduate.
• Knowledge of hospital billing and credit billing procedures.
• Practical knowledge of CGHS billing guidelines and package rates.
