Job Description
Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive care to patients in the labor ward, ensuring adherence to established nursing protocols and guidelines. • Assist in the preparation of the labor ward by setting up necessary equipment and supplies for deliveries. • Monitor the vital signs of mothers and newborns, identifying any changes that require immediate attention. • Support obstetricians and gynecologists during deliveries and other procedures. • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team. • Educate and support mothers on postpartum care and newborn feeding practices. • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation to ensure continuity of care. • Offer emergency support and interventions as needed to ensure patient safety. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care to patients and families. • Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in maternity and neonatal care.Location
