Responsibilities • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Outpatient Department (OPD), ensuring efficient patient flow and optimal care delivery. • Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate outpatient care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers. • Implement and monitor infection control practices to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff. • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation of patient records and medical histories. • Manage triage processes to prioritize patient care based on medical urgency and resources available. • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to protocols and patient safety standards. • Provide patient education to enhance understanding of medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients. • Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering a supportive and effective team environment. • Offer emergency support within the OPD, responding promptly to critical situations and stabilizing patients as required.Location
