Job Description
2. Conduct Peak Expiratory Flow Rate (PEFR) tests and other pulmonary diagnostic procedures.
3. Prepare patients for tests and explain the testing procedures.
4. Operate, calibrate, and maintain PFT equipment.
5. Monitor patients during testing and ensure their safety and comfort.
6. Record, document, and maintain accurate test results.
7. Assist pulmonologists and respiratory physicians during diagnostic procedures.
8. Follow infection control protocols and maintain equipment hygiene.
9. Identify technical errors during testing and repeat tests when required.
10. Maintain daily test records and coordinate with the concerned departments.
Educational Qualification
• B.Sc. Respiratory Therapy / Respiratory Technology.
• Diploma in Respiratory Therapy / Pulmonary Function Technology.
• B.Sc. in relevant allied health sciences with PFT experience may also be considered.
